This feature length documentary, based on the book by indie film diva and gallery owner Patti Astor, tells the story of the first art gallery in NY's East Village and the convergence of rappers, breakdancers, graffiti artists and indie filmmakers that contributed to the birth of the hip hop culture and aesthetic that continues to influence youth culture, music, fashion and advertising today.
