Roberts/David Films, Inc. and its production team have been busy working on a number of motion picture and television projects. Below is a short list of the company's past, present and future milestones:
Summer 2009 - As reported in the pages of Variety and Billboard, Roberts/David's Mark Roberts and Lorena David have joined forces with ITV Studios to turn country music into television drama in the upcoming series AMERICAN STORYTELLERS. Grammy winner Clint Black and Creative Control Entertainment's Joel C. High have also signed on to excutive produce.

Winter 2008 - PIONEER TOWN written by Stephen Colbert and Paul Dinello (Strangers with Candy) set to shoot.
December 3, 2007 - THE THACKER CASE begins principal production under the direction of Brian Jun (Steel City - Sundance 2006).
Summer 2007 - Development continues on PATTI ASTOR'S FUN GALLERY, with many of the gallery's original cast of characters signing on to participate.
November 2006 - DARK RIDE is released as part of AFTER DARK HORRORFEST - EIGHT FILMS TO DIE FOR on 500 screens across the country.
November 2007 - STRANGERS WITH CANDY arrives on DVD. Pre-order through Amazon now.
November 2006 - DANIKA screens at AFI FEST 2006.
September 30 & October 30, 2006 - DANIKA screens at the San Diego Film Festival, winning Best Feature Film and Best Actress for Regina Hall.
July 2006 - STRANGERS WITH CANDY opens in additional cities throughout the country.
June 28, 2006 - STRANGERS WITH CANDY opens in New York and Los Angeles.
June 10, 2006 - The world premiere of DANIKA at CineVegas.
June 9, 2006 - STRANGERS WITH CANDY screens at CineVegas.
February 7, 2006 - Variety and The Hollywood Reporter both run stories, by Ian Mohr and Gregg Goldstein respectiviely, about the aquisition of STRANGERS WITH CANDY by THINKFilm. Amy Sedaris, Stephen Colbert and Paul Dinello co-wrote and co-star in the comedy. The film is scheduled to be released in exclusive theatrical engagements in Summer 2006.
February 7, 2006 - Warner Bros. Home Video releases EXTREME DATING on DVD, just in time for Valentine's Day 2006!
August 2005 - Active development on THE SUPERB SEVEN begins and continues for THE LOCALS and FOOD FIGHT.
July 22, 2005 - Production wraps on DANIKA.
June 20, 2005 - Production begins on DANIKA.
January 24, 2005 - STRANGERS WITH CANDY premieres at the 2005 Sundace Film Festival in Park City, Utah, and was covered by various media outlets, including WireImage (Gallery 1 | Gallery 2).
December 2005 - News that STRANGERS WITH CANDY is an Official Selection of the 2005 Sundance Film Festival arrives to an enthusiastic cast and crew.
November 2004 - The Hollywood Reporter runs a story about the Lions Gate Entertainment distribution deal for the thriller DARK RIDE, a film co-excutive produced by Mark Roberts and Lorena David, directed by Craig Singer and starring Jamie-Lynn DiScala.
July 27-August 2, 2004 - STRANGERS WITH CANDY begins production on location in New Jersey. In addition to the original cast members and creators Amy Sedaris, Paul Dinello and Stephen Colbert, a number of special guests stars will appear in the film, including Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick, Dan Hedaya, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Ian Holm, Allison Janney, Kristen Johnston, Chris Pratt, Deborah Rush and Justin Theroux.
July 13, 2004 - Daily Variety reports David Letterman's company Worldwide Pants will join as producers of STRANGERS WITH CANDY.
November 2003 - In a deal brokered by Cinetic Media, Franchise Pictures has acquired worldwide rights to EXTREME DATING. (more)
June 2003 - The Hollywood Reporter, in an article by Chris Gardner, announced Roberts/David Films, Inc.'s plans to make a film based on Comedy Central's hit series STRANGERS WITH CANDY.
